Book, pay & cancel
How do I book my apartment?
The easiest way is to select and book the right apartment directly on our website. Simply go to www.www.urban-island.at and select your travel dates. For longer-term inquiries (from 1 month stay) we ask you to contact us by phone or e-mail.
What payment options do I have when booking online at Urban Island?
Payment is made directly by credit card.
Can my booking be canceled free of charge?
This depends on your chosen booking type.
Can I extend my current booking?
Please contact us, we will try to extend your stay as much as possible. In general, the earlier the better.
Is there a minimum length of stay?
No.
Is there a maximum length of stay?
Yes, 6 months with an option to extend.
Directions, arrival and valet parking
What is the best way to get to Urban Island?
From Vienna Central Station you can take the underground line U1 in the direction of Leopoldau to Karlsplatz and then the underground line U4 in the direction of Heiligenstadt to Spittelau. The timetable information can also be easily queried using the “ÖBB-Scotty” app.
How far is it to the nearest subway station?
The nearest underground station is the U4 Spittelau, which is about a 5-minute walk away.
Does Urban Island have parking?
Due to the location, we do not have our own parking spaces. However, you can park your vehicle inexpensively in the “Park+Ride Spittelau” (https://www.bestinparking.com/de/at/garage/park-ride-spittelau), which is located right next to the URBI.
Can I leave my suitcase if I arrive early or want to leave late?
Yes, the suitcase safe in building block 1 is available for this (2 EUR coin insertion).

Are baby cots available?
Yes, please let us know in good time – a one-time fee of EUR 25 will be charged for the additional baby bed.
Pets
Can I bring my pets with me?
Pets can be brought with you for a surcharge of 10 EUR/night.
Other
Is free wifi available?
Yes, of course you can surf with us free of charge.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is prohibited in all rooms. You are welcome to book one of our apartments with a balcony and enjoy your cigarette outdoors with a view of the Danube Canal.
Can I leave my suitcase if I arrive early or want to leave late?
Yes, the suitcase safe in building block 1 is available for this (2 EUR coin insertion).
Can I wash and iron my laundry at Urband Island?
Yes, there are washing machines and dryers in block 2 of the building, which can be used with a coin slot (2 x 1 EUR coin). In all apartments you will also find drying racks and ironing equipment.
Where can I dispose of my rubbish at Urban Island?
You will find the garbage room under the outside staircase in block 1 of the building.
Is an intermediate cleaning possible?
Yes, (chargeable) intermediate cleaning can be booked individually on request.
Where is the nearest tourist information office?

Is there a place to park my bike?
Yes – you can park your bike for free in one of our code-encrypted rooms. Please contact us beforehand by email at office@www.urban-island.at or by phone +43 664 117 6060.
